Welcome to EyesUp Hockey. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EyesUp Hockey mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

EyesUp Hockey is a training application that uses your device's camera and AI technology to help hockey players improve stickhandling skills while maintaining head-up awareness. The App includes:

• AI-powered vision tracking for training sessions
• Personalized AI coaching and daily training plans
• Performance tracking and progress analytics
• Mini-games and engagement features
• Community leaderboard (optional)

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or email/password. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information during registration
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or services
• Upload offensive, inappropriate, or misleading content to the leaderboard
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboard rankings
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities rather than reporting them
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the App

5. In-App Currency

The App features a virtual currency called "Cheddar" that is earned through training and gameplay. Cheddar:

• Has no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be purchased, sold, traded, or transferred
• Can only be used within the App to unlock cosmetic items
• May be adjusted or reset at our discretion

6. AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI Coach provides general training suggestions and feedback for hockey stickhandling practice. The AI Coach:

• Is not a substitute for professional coaching or medical advice
• May occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected responses
• Provides suggestions for training purposes only

7. Leaderboard & Community Features

If you participate in the leaderboard, your display name and performance statistics will be visible to other users. You agree to:

• Use an appropriate, non-offensive display name
• Not attempt to manipulate rankings through dishonest means

We reserve the right to remove entries or restrict access to community features for any violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks in the App are owned by EyesUp Hockey and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Vision tracking accuracy will meet specific performance levels
• AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate in all circumstances
• Use of the App will result in improved athletic performance

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EyesUp Hockey and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or loss of profits, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if the App is free).

11. Data Loss

Training data, game progress, and other local data are stored on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, App uninstallation, software updates, or any other cause. We recommend regular device backups.

12. Modifications to the App & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
